MAY 2005 NEWS
The new album Renaissance - In Memoriam will
contain the bonus video of the title-track.
The "Making Of" video will be soon released via web.
Elegy magazine interviewed Frédéric Truong for the
June issue. The CD sampler will contain an unreleased track.
The Belgian short movie "Quand viendra mon tour?" (that features
music written by Frédéric Truong) is now visible at

FEBRUARY 2005 NEWS
The new album is titled Renaissance - In Memoriam.
It will be a double album realized by Frédéric Truong
and Laurent Esmez (already involved in the latest works).
The first CD is mainly composed by Truong, that will also sing,
while Esmez will orchestrated the second CD and will provide
instrumental songs.
The release date is October 2005.
A video clip of the song "Renaissance" is scheduled for Spring 2005, it will be
included in the new album and a "Making Of" will be released for the web fans.
DECEMBER 2004 NEWS
The new album should be released around September 2005.
Frédéric Truong, with
the help of Laurent Esmez,
works on it since September 2004.
There will be sung songs and also the
presence of electric guitar.
OCTOBER 2004 NEWS
Poésies Et Chansons is released in this month.

JULY 2004 NEWS
The Belgian short movie "Quand viendra mon tour?", which music was written by Frédéric Truong
and played by students, was presented on 22nd June 2004.

MAY 2004 NEWS
For the 3rd time Drame Cérébral will be reprinted.
Originally released as split-album with N.L.C., this edition will be a
single album but it will feature some previously unreleased tracks.
APRIL 2004 NEWS
16 tracks are almost ready for the forthcoming album Poésies Et Chansons.
Among these, the Kraftwerk cover Radioactivity with the collaboration
of Julien Ash (N.L.C.), as well as guest appearances of Laurent Esmez
(percussions) and Mathieu Rosaz (singing).
Moreover, Frédéric Truong has composed some music for a Belgium
students short film 3D. The music will be recorded by the students themselves
with acoustic instruments, and presentation of the film is scheduled for
June 2004.
Another version of L'Ultima Strada (And Also The Trees cover, already
released on Histoires Sans Parole) has been recorded for an online
tribute to the band at http://www.andalsothetrees.info, available on
May 2004.
FEBRUARY 2004 NEWS
Poésies Et Chansons is the title of the next
Frédéric Truong album.
It will be released on October the 16th 2004 and it will contain
poems by Baudelaire, Rimbaud, Verlaine and Prevert, with the
atmospherical music of our artist.
Also, many covers will appear in this album, covers of Jl Murat,
Cali, Gainsbourg, Polnareff and even Kraftwerk. Special guests
will be Sophie Truong, Laurent Esmez
and Julien Ash (N.L.C.).
NOVEMBER 2003 NEWS
Película Del Camino will be officially released on January the 6th
2004, but it will be available on-line since November the 18th 2003!

OCTOBER 2003 NEWS
Película Del Camino is finally at manufacturing.
Meanwhile Frédéric Truong is beginning to work on the
next album, inspired by the themes of poems and songs.
Two new tracks have been already composed, anyway this
new work will see the light only in 2005.
JULY 2003 NEWS
The release date of Película Del Camino is January 2004.
This particular album is just like a road-movie towards the South,
based on the personal background and experiences of Frédéric Truong.

The new album will be titled Película Del Camino.
It will be a very acoustical album, full of piano and classic guitar.
Some tracks will feature the voice too.
Actually fourteen new tracks are ready, and for the first time all the
production (recording, mastering, mixing) is done by Frédéric Truong
himself.

MARCH 2003 NEWS
A new album could see the light around end of 2004 / beginning of 2005!
It's a bit distant but nice as news...
Parc Saint Marie was classed as one of the best album of 2002 by
Télé Catalunya. This is an amazing award!!
The track L'Acrobate from the forthcoming CD Histoires Sans Parole
has been chosen for a musical illustration for France 2 Télévision on
Envoyé Spécial. Please turn on your satellite decoders!
JANUARY 2003 NEWS
Histoires Sans Parole will be released on April the 2nd 2003.
The number of the tracks was increased to 14 pieces.
DECEMBER 2002 NEWS
A new album is now scheduled for Spring 2003!!!
Called Histoires Sans Parole and released under Frédéric Truong's name,
it will feature 12 tracks (+ 1 bonus-track!).
The most exciting thing is that there will be various covers of artists loved by
Frédéric, such as Franz Schubert, Pascal Comelade, And Also The Trees
and others.
The promo La Valse Des Évadé was released and it's now featured in
sounds section.
OCTOBER 2002 NEWS
The track La Valse Des Évadé (unreleased orchestral version of "Les Évadés"
from Piano Solo) will be released as promo for radios. The track will be also
featured as listenable realaudio in sounds section.

Piano Solo MCD will be released on October the 16th 2002.

And the great news is that the label will exist officially recognized in August
Meanwhile the Piano Solo MCD will be mastered in this month by Julien Ash.
JULY 2002 NEWS
Frédéric Truong composed six new tracks from the theme "Les Évadés",
dedicated to people who wish escape from oppressive situations.
These six tracks will be united to L'Hippocampe tracks and finally
released in MCD called Piano Solo. The scheduled blue vinyl was deleted.
The great new is that the MCD will be credited to Frédéric Truong himself
and it will be released around November 2002.
JUNE 2002 NEWS
L'Hippocampe was released on June the 9th 2002.
The vinyl edition will be released by end of 2002.
APRIL 2002 NEWS
The web-release of L'Hippocampe will be delayed for the end of May.
Meanwhile it's official that the tracks will be also released as blue vinyl,
in an edition limited to 100 hand-numbered copies.
MARCH 2002 NEWS
Parc Saint Marie is finally released.
Meanwhile, a new special release is going to be out.
It's called L'Hippocampe, and it will be an unreleased as
Internet-only mini-album.

Release date is scheduled around April 2002, and it will be
available only on Un Bal Á Sarajevo, the Leitmøtiv offical website.
DECEMBER 2001 NEWS
Parc Saint Marie is finished. Release-date is moved to March the 18th 2002.
Meanwhile, Frédéric Truong is preparing a collaboration with his
long-date friend Julien Ash, projected for 2003. Better details will
follow soon.
OCTOBER 2001 NEWS
Last part of recordings of Parc Saint Marie are going to be finished.
A temporary mastering is already done, and the track-list was finally
revealed.
The record should be out on March the 17th 2002, co-produced by
FTR (label of Frédéric Truong himself) and E.D.T..
AUGUST 2001 NEWS
On 15th August the final master was started, and in September some
part of cello will be recorded.
Parc Saint Marie will be more acoustic than previous work, and it will
feature a lot of ambient sounds.
The number of tracks should be 16, including Sordide Sentimental III,
plus a piano improvisation.
The first intro-track should be called Le Manège and will feature a
little surprise for the listeners...

The new album will be called Parc Saint Marie.
In these days will be added some guitar parts at EDT studios.
The remix of Sordide Sentimental by N.L.C. was already done and it will
appear on the new album and it will be called Sordide Sentimental III.
JUNE 2001 NEWS
The follow-up of La Révérence will be not a minicd but a full-lenght album!
Frédéric Truong in fact changed idea and he wrote already 9 new tracks.
However the promised remix of Sordide Sentimental by N.L.C. will be
included as bonus track.
The release date is projected around beginning of 2002.

La Révérence was released!
Frédéric Truong is already at work for a new release.
In fact he's currently working to a minicd with the remix of Sordide
Sentimental, the brand-new song from the last album, by Julien Ash
of N.L.C..
There will be a special version of Un Bal À Sarajevo as well as at
least three new tracks, that are what Truong is working on.
The release date should be within the end of this year.
MARCH 2001 NEWS
The new album La Révérence should be released at end of March or
beginning of April, even if probable date seems to be April the 15th.
JANUARY 2001 NEWS
Sorry for confusion, but the new album La Révérence won't be released
by E.D.T. of Julien Ash, but it will be self-produced and released by FTR,
the new Frédéric Truong own label.
The involving of Julien Ash however will be present for rythms and remix
of two tracks.
Always about the new album, all tracks will be edited by "Le Soleil Et
L'Acier" by Gerard N'guyen (producer of Pascal Comelade), as was done
for Une Saison Sans Pluie.
DICEMBER 2000 NEWS
The new album will be called La Révérence and it should be released
by E.D.T. on March 2001.
Actually the principal mixing is projected for the beginning of January
2001 and a postcard of artwork should see the light on the same month.
Besides, Frédéric Truong probably will play on the next N.L.C. album,
projected for Autumn 2001.
NOVEMBER 2000 NEWS
There are new plans for the next release... fortunatly, it seems that
the next album will be released for Spring 2001. It also should be
released as digipak CD.
Actually, Frédéric Truong is composing the new pieces.
The album hopefully will be the result of 5 years of musical-break.
Another news comes from Hong Kong: the track Le Secret, already
released on Une Saison Sans Pluie CD, should be used as soundtrack
of a promo clip for TV and cinema. It's surely great that an underground
artist like Leitmøtiv was chosen internationally for this and hopefully
he could gain popularity in this way.

Finally Suspended Moment was out. General information can be

MARCH 2000 NEWS
The new Leitmøtiv release is a compilation called Suspended Moment.
It is released by E.D.T., the label that distribuites the other Leitmøtiv works.
About Suspended Moment, the record should contain some unreleased
tracks. The recordings were termined around December, and the release
date was projected for January, but problems with artwork have caused
delays. The release date then was March, the 25th 2000.
